Marco Bietresato

Short bio

M. Bietresato graduated in Mechanical Engineering (Uni. Padova), attended a 1-year postgrad course in Vehicle Engineering (Uni. Modena Reggio E.), completed a Ph.D. course in “Industrial Engineering” (Uni. Padova, Fac. Engineering) and a Ph.D. course in “Mechanical Technologies for Agricultural and Forestry Processes” (Uni. Padova, Fac. Agr. Sciences).
He is entitled to practice as a Chartered Engineer (sect. “A” of the Roll).
He is Assistant Professor at UniUD and Contract Lecturer  at UniBZ in Agricultural Engineering, committee member of the PhD school in Sustainable Energy & Technology (SET).
Regular member of many scientific societies: ASABE, ASME, AIIA, SIMAI, ATI, AICARR.
He is also qualified as "Associate Univ. Prof." and "Full Univ. Prof." sect. 07/C1 (MIUR).

Main Research Areas

Agricultural Engineering, Safety of Agricultural Machines, Agricultural Engines, Biofuels, Farm tractors, Engineering for rural development, Test Systems for Agricultural Machines, Numerical Modelling and Optimization of Agricultural Machines and Agrifood Production Systems.

M. Bietresato is author of more than 80 publications in scientific journals and international conferences.
