Ain't I a Woman. Intersectional Futures and the Power of Hope
A series of events marking International Women's Day, International Day of Social Work and International Day Against Racism
Inspired by Sojourner Truth's poignant inquiry, this series of events delves into the interplay of gender, ethnic background, class, migration exploring their multifaceted nature as experienced realities and their intricately interwoven characteristics. The series converges diverse academic fields to address the pressing challenges of our contemporary world fostering engaged dialogue. The recurring theme 'Ain't I a Woman?' is brought into dialogue through lectures by young scholars, panel discussions, world cafés, performances and artistic interventions.
