Project

Optimization of supply chain logistics through digitalization in the construction and X-to-Order environment “INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AND AUTOMATION” represents an important axis of the Strategic Research Agenda of the Faculty of Science and Technology, which follows the technical and organizational optimization of production processes and technologies with the aim of improving quality and ergonomics as well as the reduction of costs and delivery times. A special focus is given to the design and use of management and automation techniques, particularly in the context of small and medium-sized enterprises in industry, construction and agriculture.
