The main campus with the central service centres and four of the five faculties is located in Bozen-Bolzano. In addition, some courses and many practical activities take place in the modern laboratories of the NOI Techpark, where the Faculty of Engineering will move into its new building in 2024. The Brixen-Bressanone campus is home to the Faculty of Education, while the Master in Tourism Management is based at the Bruneck-Brunico campus, where lectures take place between the main building in the city centre and the NOI Techpark Bruneck-Brunico.

At NOI 100 researchers and students are working in nine laboratories in the fields of renewable energies and energy efficiency, food technologies and digitalisation.
BITZ is a place for cooperative project work where students can produce models and prototypes using the latest production technologies.
The Smart Mini Factory is a learning factory laboratory used for applied research and for teaching in the context of Industry 4.0.
