The Language Centre offers language courses at different levels with the primary aim of supporting unibz students in reaching the required language levels in the three languages of instruction according to their respective study programme.
The courses follow a language learning model that is designed after the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
You can also have a look at our complete course overview.
The language curriculum is structured into a modular system which alternates between intensive courses (6 hours per day, 40 hours per week) during semester breaks, and extensive courses during the first and second semester (40 hours, 4 or 8 hours per week).
Eligibility: unibz students, tenured full-professors, researchers, research assistants (AR) and employees of unibz. In the case of any free spaces, employees of partner research, educational and cultural institutions in the province of Bozen-Bolzano can also register.
unibz graduates (alumni) can participate in all courses (except for the three-week intensive courses) by filling out the registration form and paying a fixed fee of € 150 per academic year. Please contact the Language Centre for details.
The courses offered and the course calendar can be found in the unibz Study Guide. For further information, please contact the Language Centre.
