The Diploma Supplement is an addition to the leaving certificate. It was developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and by Unesco-Cepes. The purpose of the supplement is to provide sufficient independent data to improve the international transparency and fair academic and professional recognition of qualifications. It provides a description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies that were pursued and successfully completed by the student.
It is free from any value-judgements, equivalence statements or suggestions about recognition.

Issue

The Diploma Supplement is issued automatically and free of charge to all graduates of Bachelor and Master programmes.
