Project

Research area of the faculty: „theories, forms and languages of design, art and visual culture “. The research project investigates - by using the means and methods of phenomenological and epistemological analysis - contemporary phenomena of designed artefacts and processes. These artefacts and processes should belong to design and contemporary art, too. The researcher should use the methods of cultural theories, narratology and semiology. The research project pias special attention to aesthetical phenomena which appear as well as in design as in contemporary art. For this reason the researcher must carefully select his / hers objects and methods she or he will use, and this must be done in consultation with the project leaders.
