Auditor choice, cost of debt and earnings management. This research project aims to examine the relation between audit firm choice and benefits that companies could gain in terms of lower cost of debt and earnings management. From a Principal-Agent conflict perspective, too, audit firm choice, between Big4 and non-Big4, is a significant decision.
