The members of the University community maintain an honest and responsible mode of behaviour and must ensure that ethical principles are respected. It is for this reason that unibz has adopted a Code of Ethics (PDF - Italian and German)  which determines the fundamental values and rules of conduct for academic and administrative staff and students, and promotes respect for the rights of individuals, and the acceptance of duties and responsibilities towards the University and those who share in it. The Ethics Committee has the task of preventing illegal behaviour, of ensuring that the Code of Ethics is enforced, and of advising the Rector. It also has a mediating function, which means that it makes efforts to encourage the amicable settlement of conflicts.
