Short bio
I am a PhD candidate in computer science, with also educational backgrounds in computational mechanics and bioengineering. Together with some of the best researchers, especially my supervisors
Prof. Bruno Carpentieri and
Prof. Gerhard A. Holzapfel, we carry out interdisciplinary research via numerical analysis and artificial intelligence, focusing on applications in orthopedic biomechanics. For this, we develop finite element methods (for physics-based modeling) and machine learning algorithms (for data-driven modeling) or hybrid frameworks that combine them.
Main Research Areas
My current research interests are scientific programming (e.g., using Abaqus subroutines for numerical biomechanics) and machine learning (e.g., using TensorFlow for surrogate models).
