The forest-wood value chain encompasses the processes from raw material to finished product. The companies active in this sector are highly flexible, innovative and lay great emphasis on environmental protection and the sustainable use of resources.
In order to prepare you for a career in this field, this study programme interweaves contents in industrial, business administration and energy fields with law and wood-specific subjects in an interdisciplinary manner.
In this multilingual programme, the practical part is very high. Of the 180 credit points, at least 50 must be acquired in companies or technical offices; this makes it considerably easier for students to join the professional chamber at a later date. unibz has therefore concluded agreements with the Consiglio Nazionale dei Periti Industriali and the Collegio dei Periti Industriali of the Autonomous Province of Bozen-Bolzano. There are also partnerships with various companies of the South Tyrol Business Federation (Unternehmerverband Südtirol).
