Master in

Social Work and Social Policy

Have you ever thought about making a real impact on social change? In today's global and multicultural society, the challenges of welfare, inclusion and the management of social, health and education services are more acute than ever.

Course description

This master offers you the opportunity to acquire in-depth skills and knowledge for planning and development in the sectors of social work, education, training, culture and healthcare, as well as in non-profit organisations.

With an interdisciplinary and innovative approach that combines theory, applied research and participatory practice, this course allows you to explore key issues such as the sustainability of welfare systems, social inclusion and the use of new technologies in the social sector. The aim is to train professionals capable of working in complex environments, addressing social inequalities and promoting the well-being of individuals and communities.

Key Features of the Programme:

  • Innovative and interdisciplinary approach
  • Flexibility and personalised study path
  • Alternative teaching methods
  • Internship experiences and strong links with the local community
  • International exchange opportunities

The current social situation requires new social innovations and the ability to mobilise and effectively use resources to achieve the objectives of public and private organisations in the social, educational, cultural, health and social economy sectors. This is essential to promote the sustainable and inclusive development of welfare systems.

The programme aims to train professionals who can understand social change in multicultural contexts and respond to the challenges posed by different forms of inequality and social and individual problems. Particular emphasis is placed on the ability to design, implement and evaluate policies and interventions in different fields, to promote solidarity and well-being within communities and to support democratic processes for social inclusion.

It is designed for both recent bachelor graduates with no previous work experience and professionals already working in the field who wish to further their studies.
