We currently offer two courses in academic writing: one in general university writing skills and the other focussing on thesis writing. These are offered in the three languages in use at unibz - English, German and Italian – and are differentiated according to the specific conventions of each language.

For information about these in-semester courses, please see the syllabus descriptions here. We also offer an intensive 20-hour workshop, 'Academic Writing in English for PhD students’, at the beginning of every academic year. Information on this course is sent out to all PhD students via email.

The centre also runs academic writing helpdesks. Students can make an appointment with an academic writing tutor to talk about their work or any other matters related to academic writing. For details of this service, please see the Study Guide.
