Digital and Socially Sustainable Human Resources Management

Develop expertise in human resources management by integrating digitalisation and social sustainability to create value in businesses and organisations.  

This Executive Master trains human resource specialists to address the challenges of digitalisation and social sustainability. With an interdisciplinary approach, it combines business management, occupational psychology, and employment law, equipping students with the tools to integrate innovation and well-being into professional environments.  

A key focus is the “Twin Transition”, which highlights the connection between digital transformation and sustainability, aiming to develop effective and inclusive HR strategies.

The programme is suitable for both experienced professionals and those aspiring to start a career in human resource management.  

The structure ensures a balance between theory and practice, incorporating on-campus and online courses, workshops, and project work. Thanks to its trilingual approach (Italian, German, and English), participants will be well-prepared for careers in both national and international settings.

Structure of the course

The programme lasts 18 months and includes a total workload of 1,500 hours (equivalent to 60 ECTS credits). The study structure includes:  

  • 216 hours of on-campus lectures  
  • 90 hours of online learning  
  • 44 hours of workshops and project work  
  • 1,150 hours of independent study  
  • 375 hours dedicated to final projects 

The curriculum covers key HR topics, including organisational strategies, employment law, coaching in change processes, diversity and inclusion management, workplace well-being, and HR digitalisation.  

A particular focus is placed on emerging technologies, with courses on artificial intelligence in HR, digital ergonomics, and ethics. The programme concludes with a reflection project and a final project, usually completed in teams.
