MA Eco-Social Design: Project 2 by Viola Güse, Georg Jähnchen, Celeste Meisel | SS 2020
A participatory vision development project for and with the Bunker H in order to create a space for creativity, culture, otherness, diversity and freedom sustained by and for the community.
Imagine a place, where different people come together to share their ideas, knowledge and time in order to build a space for creativity, culture, otherness, diversity and freedom sustained by and for the community. A place, where you can create and experiment independently and which is open for marginalized ideas, groups and growing networks.
We are talking about the Bunker H in Bolzano. Imagine all the creative energy spreading from the Bunker to the rest of the city and Bolzano as the creative center of South Tyrol. The Bunker could function as a symbol for transformation and inspire and empower other projects. Bolzano could leave its image as a conservative city behind, open up for new ideas and embrace community and diversity.
The aim of our project is to develop an image forming vision in a participatory way to show the potential of the space and bring commited people as well as financial support to the Bunker H. First results are visible on our website (work in progress): https://gtj-11.github.io
