Winterschool Vienna - Brixen 2025: Transformations
‘Transformation’ is the name of this year's PhD Winter School, which is the result of a collaboration between unibz, the University of Vienna and the University of Trnava.

The PhD Winter School 2025 will take place from Monday 10 February in the afternoon to Wednesday 12 February in the morning in Bressanone. The theme of this edition is ‘Transformations’, with a programme full of keynote lectures, methodological workshops and thematic sessions exploring the concept of transformation in education and social sciences.
The event is organised by the PhD Programme in Education and Social Sciences of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano in collaboration with the University of Vienna and the University of Trnava. During the Winter School, participants will have the opportunity to meet with experts in the field, discuss their own research and take part in a guided tour of Bolzano dedicated to conflict transformation. A unique opportunity to learn, discuss and network for PhD students and researchers interested in transformation processes in education and society.
