Demian Conrad is a polymath, working as a creative director, art director, graphic designer, type-designer, researcher, educator and author of several books on design horiented topics. With a strong drive in entrepreneurship, he has been running several projects, such Demian Conrad Design Studio, DADADUM contemporary furniture, Automatico Studio and the Center for Future Publishing. 

Demian has been successfully working for national and international clients in the fields of visual identities, branding, corporate design, strategic consultancy, art direction, editorial design and way-finding. 

Demian Conrad won the awards 100 Beste Plakate in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2015. He won the first prize"of the European Design Awards for Branding in 2013. He won the prestigious Art Director Club Award for a national campaign in 2016. His design works are held in collections such as the Museum of Design in Zürich, Mudac, the Chaumont Archive and some private collectors. In 2012 Demian Conrad participated in the exhibition 100 Years of Swiss Graphic Design at the Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich.” 

Demian Conrad has also been teaching at HEAD-Genève from 2016 until 2023, focusing on editorial narrative throughout images, and exploring the role of new technology in the shaping of new languages. He co-founded a hybrid space, the Center for Future Publishing, as an intersection between technology and design. Since 2023 Demian has been teaching at Basel Academy of Art and Design FHNW, in the Institute of Digital Communication Environments (IDCE) Demian published several books on design topics. Recently Graphic Design in the Post-digital Age by onomatophée, and Who the Hell is Müller-Brockmann by Niggli. Since 2017 Demian is a member of Alliance Graphique International.
