Staging democracy aims at discussing how we can use culture and creativity both as vehicles for young citizens to actively engage and experience democracy as well as research lenses to observe, compare, and explain democracy-related phenomena. The interdisciplinary composition of the seminar (engaging citizens, academics, civil society associations and representatives of local institutions) echoes the kind of inclusive space where participants experience democracy through the format of creative or creativity conversations.
