Community well-being requires a deeper understanding of mechanisms in tourism to determine appropriate management strategies to promote behaviours in support of sustainable community tourism development. This research seminar explores why the concepts of place attachment and community wellbeing among others need be part of the discussion for long-term benefits for the tourism industry and broader societal goals.
