The Event is thought as a first occasion for analyzing the applications of legal regulations on sustainability goals issues.

A series of EU law provisions about sustainability goals are starting to be approved.

In the perspective of their future application in the Member States, it is useful to have a look at the experience of the relevant regulations already in place. In this framework, the UN Guiding Principles and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises are also a necessary benchmark in the field of the due diligence of the supply chain and, more broadly, for the protection of human rights and environmental resources in business activities.
