Timber construction meets fire safety in Bolzano.

A full-day event will bring together experts in the field of fire safety and in the field of timber construction, unfolding an open dialogue.

In the morning, invited talks will tackle the state of the art, challenges and perspectives concerning the regulatory framework, active and passive protection strategies, pathways to sustainability and system integration. In the afternoon, stakeholders from the wood sector will share their experience and expertise bringing case studies, tests and R&D activities.

The event will also be live streamed: the link to the webinar will be shared with registered attendees.

 

The initiative is part of the series of seminars TIMBER (TIMber Buildings for Environmental Respite), funded by the Euregio Mobility Funds and involving the University of Innsbruck, the University of Trento and the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.
