After graduating from unibz, he went to Straubing (Germany) and then to Vienna (Austria) to study biomass technology. This is a joint degree from the Technical University of Munich (Germany) and the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna.
After completing his Master's degree, Alex started working at the Austrian Energy Agency in Vienna as a Junior Expert for Renewable Energy Resources. There he worked on various projects with a focus on bioenergy such as heat and electricity generation from wood and biogas, but also on other renewable energy technologies such as photovoltaics. After gaining 2 years of work experience, Alex started a part-time Master programme called Renewable Energy Systems at the Vienna University of Technology, which will give him further insights and support his professional career in the field of renewable energy.

Important Notice for Students
Organizing and planning an event requires time, effort, and dedication from everyone involved: coordinators, participants, speakers, suppliers, and others. Behind every event, there is work that begins long before the event itself and involves financial, logistical, and personnel resources.
For this reason, we ask you to respect the commitment of those working to organize these opportunities. If you sign up for an event but, for any reason, are unable to attend, we kindly ask you to inform us at least 3 days in advance. This will help avoid inconvenience and disappointment for those preparing to present or run the event.
Additionally, for events that include catering or other supplies, the economic aspect must also be considered: the costs for food and materials are calculated based on the number of registrations. Last-minute cancellations do not always allow us to adapt without waste.
Therefore, we invite you to register seriously and, most importantly, to attend. If your availability changes, please notify us promptly.
This way, we can continue to offer high-quality events and respect the work of those contributing to their organization.
Thank you for your cooperation!
