Bolzano Joint Political Economy and Applied Microeconomics Workshop
The workshop aims to bring together top scholars from the broad ‘Alpine’ region who are doing empirical work in any area of applied microeconomics, including but not restricted to topics in education, labour, health, development and political economy, as well as political economy papers with a more theoretical focus.

The workshop will focus on a number of common areas to be determined by the fields covered by the submissions. The workshop will feature longer presentations (35-45 minutes depending on the final program) and provide an opportunity for researchers in related areas to share and receive feedback on their work. We would particularly like to see new or preliminary papers submitted.
An invited talk will be given by Christina Gathmann (LISER).
The conference will include lunches and conference dinners on Monday and Tuesday night. Travel and accommodation costs will be reimbursed for participants. There will be a social program on Sunday December 18th for early arrivals potentially featuring skiing and the Football World Cup final.
DEADLINE: if you are interested in presenting, submit an unpublished paper or an extended abstract (a minimum of 5 pages) to steven.stillman@unibz.it and federico.boffa@unibz.it by October 21th.
A decision on accepted papers will be made by November 1st.
