The Faculty of Engineering is located on the campus of the NOI Techpark. The building, provides a cutting-edge environment for study and research. Specialising in robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence, the faculty adopts a multidisciplinary approach. Students have access to modern laboratories and can participate in international research projects, collaborating with companies and research institutes to develop innovative solutions. The NOI Techpark and its History
The NOI Techpark is the science and technology park of South Tyrol, located in Bolzano. This innovation district hosts companies, start-ups, research institutes, and laboratories, promoting sustainable and technological development. Founded in 1936 as one of the largest aluminium factories in Italy, NOI Techpark has undergone significant transformation. In 2017, the former Alumix aluminium production plant was transformed into a modern innovation district.

How to reach the Faculty of Engineering

By car
Bozen-Bolzano is divided into “coloured zones” that are different according to the different areas of the city. Street parking is only possible if the car has the correct coloured parking permit. However, near the Faculty of Engineering, no sticker is required. Additionally, free parking is available on Via Alessandro Volta and Via Ipazia. 

Public Transport
Several buses and trains connect the centre of Bolzano to the Faculty of Engineering. The main buses that go to the campus are:

• Bus 111: directly connects the city centre.
• Bus 10B and 120: stop at the junction with Via Volta, about 9 minutes' walk from the campus.

Bolzano has two main train stations:

• Bolzano Station: located about 18 minutes away by bus 111.
• Bolzano Sud Station: located about 1 km away, reachable in 15 minutes on foot or 8 minutes by bus 10B.

By bike
