International delegations' visits to CC for School Inclusion
Since the beginning of the academic year, the Competence Centre for School Inclusion has welcomed four delegations from six different countries across three different continents, involving a total of 75 people.
On 29th September 2023, a group of student teachers from the University of Kassel (Germany) visited. On 6th March 2024, a delegation of school headmasters from Georgia and Armenia, part of the Caritas International project, came. On 10th May 2024, representatives from the Ministries of Education of Colombia and Uruguay visited. Finally, on 15th May 2024, a large group of education managers from the Go! training institute in Brussels attended.
The groups attended welcoming meetings organized by the Competence Centre for School Inclusion in Brixen/Bressanone.
For each visiting group, the members of the Competence Centre offered personalized presentations on their topics of interest, such as the historical evolution of inclusive education in Italy, the state of related research, teacher qualification, and the multilingual school system in the Province of Bozen-Bolzano. Based on these discussions, international dialogues about possible improvements in inclusive education have become a fixed component of the meetings.
We are proud and pleased that more meetings with visiting groups have already been scheduled for the next academic year, and we look forward to further lively dialogues.
