Der Kurs richtet sich an Studierende, die über Deutschkenntnisse auf Niveau
B1 des Europäischen Referenzrahmens verfügen. Sie können sich in Alltagssituationen und in ihrem Studienalltag mündlich und schriftlich einfach und verständlich äußern.
Ziele des Kurses sind die Festigung der Grundkenntnisse und eine systematische Entwicklung und Erweiterung der Sprachhandlungskompetenzen in den Fertigkeiten
Hören, Lesen, Schreiben und
Sprechen, im
Wortschatz, der
Grammatik, in studienrelevanten Situationen und ganz allgemein in der
Welt von
Design und
Kunst.
Im Kurs werden Aktivitäten wie Texte zusammenfassen, Notizen machen, graphische Darstellungen lesen und umformulieren, ein Projekt beschreiben und präsentieren, argumentieren etc. anhand von
authentischen Materialien und Situationen durchgeführt.
Analysiert und trainiert werden außerdem
Lerntechniken,
Lernstrategien und
Autonomes Lernen als grundlegende Voraussetzung für ein erfolgreiches Studium.
Wichtigste Sozialformen des Unterrichts sind
aktives Mitwirken der Kursbesucher am Unterrichtsgeschehen, sowie Einzel-, Partner- und Gruppenarbeit.
Übergeordnetes
Ziel ist die Annäherung an das Sprachniveau
B2 des Europäischen Referenzrahmens, d.h. Sprachkenntnisse zu erwerben, die es ermöglichen, sich im Alltag wie im Studium selbstständig und kompetent zu verständigen.
Deutsch Fachsprache

Für Studenten mit soliden Deutschkenntnissen (
Niveau B2 - C1).
Ziel des Kurses ist die Einübung bzw. Erweiterung und Vertiefung der Fertigkeiten, über die Studierende der Fakultät für Design und Künste in ihrem Studienalltag verfügen sollen, um sich in allen Aktivitäten der Fakultät mündlich und schriftlich sprachlich zurechtzufinden und sich korrekt, situationsadäquat und differenziert zu äußern.
Zur Einübung der rezeptiven, wie auch der produktiven mündlichen und schriftlichen Fertigkeiten wird die Variante der deutschen Fachsprache von Design und Kunst unter verschiedenen Gesichtspunkten (Morphologie und Syntax, Terminologie, Grammatik, Textaufbau) vor allem anhand authentischer Materialien (Artikel aus Fachzeitschriften, Berichte, Online-Materialien u.a.m.) analysiert und trainiert.
Unter Berücksichtigung der neuen Richtlinien der Fakultät zu einer Zertifizierung auf Niveau C1 des Europäischen Referenzrahmens vor Studienabschluss sieht der Kurs auch ein gezieltes Zertifikatstraining zur Vorbereitung auf das Zertifikat TestDaF vor.
Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt des Kurses wird die verschiedenen Aspekte thematisieren und trainieren, die den Einstieg in die Arbeitswelt betreffen (Bewerbung, curriculum vitae, Sprachenpass, Vorstellungsgespräche führen u.a.m.), sowie Techniken und Strategien zu Projektpräsentationen analysieren und durch Simulationen üben.

Si tratta di un corso-laboratorio di lingua italiana in cui svolgiamo attività linguistiche utili per comprendere aspetti della cultura quotidiana in Italia, per partecipare a lezioni e gruppi di lavoro, per illustrare attività progettuali.
Materiale del nostro laboratorio di lingua
- testi autentici tratti da quotidiani, riviste specializzate, libri (interviste a creativi di vari settori, descrizione e interpretazioni di immagini e oggetti, presentazione di pagine web, istruzioni e schede tecniche, recensioni ecc.)
- temi di cultura del design e della comunicazione in Italia
- esposizioni artistiche e rituali del mondo della creatività italiana, dal Salone del Mobile di Milano fino alla Biennale di Venezia
- informazioni, idee e opinioni portate dagli studenti da discutere, motivare e scambiare
- esercizi di scrittura creativa e di sintesi
- lavoro autonomo e personalizzato da fare fuori dalla classe
Italiano specialistico

Arrivati alla soglia del mondo del lavoro non basta più soltanto capire e usare l’italiano colloquiale, ma occorre anche sapersi esprimere in modo più ricco e formale.
Vorremmo riuscire a comunicare meglio i nostri progetti e esercitare forme testuali utili a livello professionale, simulando diverse situazioni di lavoro, compresa la promozione di se stessi e delle proprie realizzazioni.
Particolare attenzione verrà dedicata alle forme di coesione dei testi scritti, alla capacità di sintetizzare e spiegare percorsi ideativi e di convincere argomentando, oltre che ai meccanismi lessicali dei linguaggi specialistici, in particolare nel caso dei contratti ADI e AIAP. Inoltre ci orienteremo nelle prove di certificazione richieste dalle linee guida sulle lingue alla LUB.
I testi prodotti, raccolti in una cartella, costituiranno la base dell’esame orale, nel corso del quale si simulerà un colloquio d’assunzione presso uno studio o un’agenzia in Italia o una relazione davanti a un pubblico.

An upper-intermediate English-language course based on the B2 Council of Europe framework level. This specifically designed course aims to introduce students to the language of Design through use of general and specific texts, both written and spoken.
The course aims to facilitate comprehension and participation in the other courses offered by the Faculty of Design and Art with emphasis on improving both receptive and productive skills. Topics covered include a general revision of basic grammatical structures with subsequent consolidation through use of practical applications. Emphasis is placed on improving the four main skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) through practical, communicative tasks.
Teaching methodology emphasises student co-operation and participation in and outside the classroom through individual, pair and group work.
Prerequisites: A level of
receptive and
productive English equivalent to approx. 300 hours of English tuition (English obtained after approximately five years school study) and successful completion of the English-language admission test administered by the Language Centre of the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano, or other evidence of a B2 level.
English LSP
Jemma Prior
An advanced course in specific language for design students to be undertaken following successful completion of the
English course.
The course focuses on the various styles of language used in the field of art and design and aims to improve students’ receptive, but above all productive skills. The course is also designed to assist students in their preparatory work for their final degree project in English.
Topics covered include an introduction to more complex grammatical structures used in this field and at this level, with subsequent consolidation through use of practical applications. There will also be emphasis on improving productive skills, especially writing, so that students can produce accurate, cohesive texts in English for professional use.
Teaching methodology emphasises student co-operation and participation in and outside the classroom through individual, pair and group work.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of the
English course or other evidence of good upper-intermediate knowledge of English (certificates attesting to a B2 standard following the Council of Europe’s Framework of Reference for Languages).
