At the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano we distinguish between academic and administrative staff. The former comprise teaching staff, researchers, supervisors and scientific collaborators, who are active within the framework of teaching and research. The organization of teaching, the management of the students and the teaching staff and the management of the university in general are dealt with by the administration.
