CompaniesAn important aim that the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano takes very seriously is to encourage students to make contacts with the world of work; first and foremost through teaching, which doesn’t just concentrate on theory: as well as lectures there are also seminars, work placement programmes and practical work that allows students to put their skills into practice.

The Free University of Bozen/Bolzano also has a special office that helps to maintain contacts with the university and the world of work: the Careers Advisory Service can help students or graduates with any questions related to work and future careers. It is mainly due to the support and commitment of many companies that students and graduates have the chance to undertake fascinating work experiences that further consolidate the cooperation between the academic world and the business world. The Careers Advisory Service also coordinates job offers (full-time, part-time and seasonal work), sends companies lists of recent graduates, puts companies in touch with the AlumniClub (the association of Bolzano graduates) and organises visits to companies.
