The Leonardo da Vinci programme is part of the
Lifelong Learning Programme 2007 – 2013
.
Leonardo da Vinci is a programme that
aims to develop competitiveness in the European job market by focussing on further and higher education requirements
. (New) graduates can benefit by taking part in exchanges and work placements abroad with the aim of promoting the quality of training and education and the European job market. The programme encourages cooperation between European universities and companies and promotes vocational training.
Leonardo da Vinci provides grants that can cover part of the expenses that the (new) graduates incur when undertaking training in companies or organizations located in EU member states or in the European Economic Area.
