Gaining a knowledge of and learning English, Italian and German are fundamental if you want to be successful at this University, whose aim is to produce graduates who can work successfully in multilingual working environments.
If you are interested in studying at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, before you even start your studies, we encourage you to follow a language course that will help you to improve your English, German and/or Italian language skills. If you are a beginner in one of the languages, it's very important that you take a beginners course in this language before you start your studies.
The Language Centre offers intensive language courses in August and September.
The full offer comprises
- Beginners (A0=>A1) and false beginners (A2=>B1) language courses
- Preparatory Courses (B1=>B2) for studying in a trilingual environment and for the language tests.
Specific preparation courses
Right after the publication of the ranking lists, special preparation courses will be offered. In order to help students with their first experiences at the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano, the School of Economics and the Faculty of Computer Science and the Faculty of Science and Technology are offering intensive mathematics courses, which allow students to go over some of the basic notions so that they are fully prepared for their studies.
