How does the University encourage language learning?
Prospective students and current students of the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano are given support in improving their language skills and proficiency for all three languages before and during their studies. There are various services offered, including:

• placement tests that can be used independently to evaluate your language proficiency,
• intensive summer courses before the beginning of the academic year (in August and September),
• courses throughout your studies,
• language advising service offered by qualified experts,
• lectures, seminars and practical tutorials in the three teaching languages,
• cultural, social and sports events in a multilingual, international environment.
