What exit language levels do I need?
There is also a language exit level that all students need to achieve in the three languages in order to be able to sit their final university exam*.
  • For bachelor degree programmes, at the end of the three years you must be able to certify the C1 level in your first language, B2+ in your second language and B2 in the third.
  • In order to successfully complete a master degree, you need the C1 level in two languages and B2 in the third.
You can certify this exit level in various ways: you can sit and pass the computer-based tests that are organised by the Language Centre of the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano or achieve one of the recognised language certificates.
The courses you have followed and the language levels that you have reached will be detailed in a Diploma Supplement.

*These requirements are valid for all master programmes except for the Master in Computer Science and in Fruit Science, as all teaching for these masters takes place in English.
