The University Library with its premises in Bozen/Bolzano, Brixen/Bressanone and Bruneck/Brunico, has been created as a multimedia centre that serves not only the University’s students and staff but also the local community. Its  mission has always been to provide the information required for teaching and learning, research and lifelong learning. We can meet the current and future demands of our clients and our “just in time” motto means that we can provide access to traditional and online information quickly and conveniently.

Its work also comprises the following tasks:
  • the construction and development of a digital library;
  • the transmission of information skills through educational projects for a variety of target users as well as training sessions;
  • the organisation of various areas that can support different styles of studying and learning;
  • the search for innovative solutions and participation in research projects, cooperation and initiatives with national and international partners.
