FAQ - What is SFX?
What is SFX / Find it @ UNIBZ?
SFX is a linking technology that enables a user to determine whether the University library owns or provides access to a desired item or volume (e.g. article).
Due to the fact that the letters “S.F.X.” do not mean anything to most people the Library designed a new button for full text options, namely FIND IT @ UNIBZ.
If the desired item is available in electronic form, SFX can facilitate direct linking. If the item is not available, electronically SFX supports the following services:
Check availability of print versions in the Library catalogue
Request material through Interlibrary Loan or Document Delivery
Search in ISI Web of Science for other articles published by the same author
Access SFX Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Contact your library
"SFX" stands for "special effects". You can learn more about the technology behind SFX at the
SFX Web site
