OBJECTIVES
The course will provide students with a basic knowledge on legal aspects related to information technologies.
SYLLABUS
The following topics will be covered by the course:
- Introduction to Legal Analysis and Legal Comparison;
- Legal sources of Italian and European law;
- Law in the Digital Age;
- Computer Privacy;
- E-Health and Data Protection;
- E-government;
- E-commerce and e-money;
- Copyright Law: general principles with special reference to the legal protection of software.

ASSESSMENT
Final exam, written (100%).
The exam will be written only (open questions). Students are allowed to use slides (teaching materials) and legislation (NO doctrine: papers, essays, books).
