NON EUROPEAN CITIZENS

Erasmus Mundus Scholarships

For academic year 2008/2009 our 3 European Masters Programmes (Computational Logic, Language and Communication Technologies and Software Engineering) will offer several new Erasmus Mundus scholarships for non European citizens (in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 more than 100 Erasmus Mundus scholarships were offered).
In addition, special scholarships are offered to students from India, China, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania, and the African, Caribbean, Pacific group of states (the so-called ACP member states).
Each scholarship for each student amounts to 21,000 € per academic year; this includes 10 monthly grants of 1,600 € and a fixed amount of 5,000 € for fees, travel expenses, relocation costs, etc; so for these Master programmes lasting two years, each student receives double this amount, i.e. 42,000 €. Please check the web site with the Frequently Asked Questions to have the answer to the most common questions you may have about the Erasmus Mundus scholarship eligibility and application.
The deadline for applications is between the end of December and the end of February, depending on the European Masters Programme chosen.
