Studyplan before 2004-2005 ("Old Studyplan")The Degree course comprises the equivalent of 180 didactic credits (Credit Points). The duration of the course is three years.
In 2004/2005 the Faculty of Computer Science changed the Study Code, the Study Regulation and the Study Plan of the Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science (see Regulations).
Students enrolled BEFORE Academic Year 2004/2005 continue to follow the old Study Code, the old Study Regulation and the old Study Plan.
In Academic Year 2004/2005 the Faculty will offer the 2nd and 3rd year courses of the Old Study Plan, and in Year 2005/2006 the 3rd year courses of the Old Study Plan.
After Academic Year 2005/2006, no courses of the Old Study Plan will be offered.
The Faculty will
continue to offer all COMPULSORY exams of the Old Study Plan, provided that interested students send a written request to the Faculty Administration by the deadline provided for each session.
STREAM EXAMS and
GENERAL SKILL EXAMS are offerd according to the courses activated for each Academic Year.
ATTENTION!
Students remaining in the Old Study Plan can only take exams from the Old Study Plan, students switching to the New Study Plan can only take exams from the New Study Plan - NO MIXTURE IS ALLOWED!
Change of Study PlanStudents in the Old Study Plan can choose to pass into the New Study Plan.
To do this, they have to hand in a
WRITTEN REQUEST to the
Degree Committee of the Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science.
In the eventuality of a difference in Credit Points, students passing from Study Plan 2003/2004 ("Old Study Plan") to Study Plan 2004/2005 ("New Study Plan") have following recognition granted:
- full recognition of already gained Credit Points in case of exams with more Credit Points than forseen in Study Plan 2004/2005 ("New Study Plan")
- integration for the missing Credit Points in case of exams with less Credit Points than forseen in Study Plan 2004/2005 ("New Study Plan"); the Credit Points of the integration will be gained with the same modalities forseen for the original course (exam, project...)
