PREREQUISITES
Good Java working knowledge; basic testing experience; completion of a few student projects.
OBJECTIVES
- to create a basic understanding Project Management (PM) concepts and risk management
- PM issues in an IT project
- How to manage a development project (XP)
- Share some real world experiences and insights from international projects (what works, pitfalls, etc.)
- Introduction to Agile Software Development (Project Management)

- General Concepts of PM;
- Risk Management;
- extreme Programming Project Management;
- Lean Software development;
- Team Organisation
TEACHING FORMAT
Lectures & Lab Project in Teams of 5-6 Students; time permitting: simulations.
ASSESSMENT
Final Exam (100%), Lab & Home Software Project(s) as Tie Breakers.
