The course is intended to illustrate, under a business and IS perspective, the use of management technology in modern business organizations.

  • Business Functions, Processes, and Data Requirements;
  • ERP Development;
  • Marketing Information Sytems and the Sales Order Process;
  • Production and supply chain Management Information Systems;
  • Accounting in ERP systems;
  • Human Resources Processes with ERP;
  • Process Modeling, Improvement and Implementation;
  • Electronic Commerce.

  • Henderson and Venkatraman Strategic Alignment Model;

- Overview on Business Intelligence Tools
