Certified electronic mail (PEC)

What is PEC?
The Certified Electronic Mail PEC is a mail system, which in legal terms is equivalent to a classic registered letter with return receipt.
The sender gets an electronic confirmation regarding the successful or not successful delivery of an e-mail with eventual attachments to the addressee, which has a certified mailbox too.

The advantages of PEC
The advantages of PEC are short waiting times, additional security and low costs. 

How to use PEC
Everyone who owns a PEC address has the possibility to contact the Free University of Bolzano/Bozen using the address administration@pec.unibz.it. The PEC goes directly to the Secretariat of the Managing Director. They are also at disposal for sending certified PEC mails on behalf of the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano to external PEC addresses.
