What is VPN? The Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides staff members and professors who need access to the internal network of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano with the right tool to connect securely. Data transfers are authenticated and encrypted through a standard internet access.   


How do I start using VPN? You need special permissions to use the VPN: all professors and assistants are automatically granted the rights to use it. The head of the offices can request the permission for their co-workers by opening a ticket.
