VPN Client: Download and installation instructions for Windows
The VPN Client is available for the Windows systems 2000, XP, Vista and 7. The supported platforms are 32bit as well as 64bit.

After the installation file has been downloaded start it by double-clicking the file.

Once the installation process was completed successfully please import the profile into the VPN Client using the Start Menu (Start / All Programs / Cisco Systems VPN Client / VPN Client). Now please click on “Connection Entries” / “Import” and choose the previously downloaded VPN profile “Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.pcf”.

Before starting up the VPN client, make sure you are connected to the internet. Click “Connect” to connect the client to the Free University of Bolzano VPN server, then enter your Username and Password.

After the connection has been established, you can use the Scientific Network’s Services (network shares, printers …). For disconnecting from the VPN connection open the VPN Client window and simply click on “Disconnect”.
