Access to the Scientific NetworkIn the University buildings in Bozen/Bolzano, Brixen/Bressanone and in Bruneck/Brunico there are networked multimedia computers, which are available for all the members of the university. The PCs are equipped with the standard package of applications which is updated continuously.

Every user has the access to the Internet. We would like to point out, that due to legal regulations all accesses to the Internet are logged. When necessary, the logs can be handed over to law enforcement units.  

At the moment of joining the University, each member gets an electronic mailbox with an email address as well as  a personal Scientific-Network user IDD, which enables the access to the scientific network of Südtirol/Alto Adige.

The Computer Labs are mainly intended for educational activities but they may also be used freely during the university’s opening hours. Members of the University gain access various internet databases via web pages the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano at no charge. They can also access the multimedia workshops for autonomous language learning.

With the aid of the eUniversity, all the authorized users  can enroll to educational activities, internships and exams, they can check and modify own study plans, as well as  fill out online forms (pre-enrolment, enrolment etc.).

Thanks to Outlook Web Access they gain access to their personal mailbox, the University calendar and to public folders via web browser.
