Efficient Multimedia Presentation at the Seminar Rooms!Each of the smaller classrooms (seminar rooms) at Via Sernesi in Bolzano and Via Stazione in Bressanone is equipped with brand new multimedia presentation equipment. The projector is installed in the ceiling and connected with a local personal computer at the lecturer's desk.
Scientific Network of South Tyrol
Additionally, the computer is connected to the "Scientific Network of South Tyrol". You can access the internet from this PC, as well as various databases and your personal file storage area. Bring your laptop PC with you and you can connect to the "Scientific Network" either using conventional cables or via wireless LAN.
Presentations
Projecting video sources like DVDs, videocassettes or digital video cameras onto the large screen is now simple, using common RCA or S-video adapters. Additional, mobile equipment remains available from the Technical Services department.
The biggest advantage of the new classroom multimedia equipment is that it facilitates using the projector for Power Point or other presentations (using .jpg, .png or .bmp graphic formats), while
you no longer have to carry your whole laptop with you - just a CDR or flash memory stick!The entire multimedia system can be controlled from a single panel at the lecturer's desk.
The ready to use mobile multimedia devices will be placed at your disposal by the technical services staff, exclusively by reservation.
