OpenAiR: Easy WLAN Access for our Guests
What is openAiR?
openAiR allows you to access the Internet through the Scientific Network South Tyrol by using a
scratch card. On private devices (Notebook, PDA, …) simply insert the Username and Password (scratch password field) which are listed on the scratch card. This gives you direct access to the WLAN.
If you are using openAiR without logging in, the access is limited to the website of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano as well as EURAC Research.
Where is openAiR available?
The WLAN is available at all institutions of the Scientific Network South Tyrol:

Who is allowed to use openAiR?
openAiR cards are distributed for institutional activities of organizations belonging to the Scientific Network. The access is reserved and time-limited:

The use of this service is subject to the
Network Rules of the Scientific Network, which has to be accepted at the login. The scratch card is exclusively available for institutional activities of institutions within the Scientific Network,
but in no case for private use.
