Ambitions and profile of the students of this study course
The study course for the Master is meant for all those people who already have a Bachelor that provided them with good skills in the fields of Economics and Business Management (see admission conditions). The study path is adequate also for people who have obtained a Bachelor in disciplines which are differing from the economic ones and who want to do a new orientation of their studies. The familiarity with at least two of the three official languages of the course (English, German and Italian) is a fundamental requisite having a relevant importance. This study course is particularly suitable for all those who: want to acquire those skills necessary to transform an innovative idea into a business and found a new enterprise, aspire to obtain a position of high responsibility in small to middle-sized innovative enterprises (PMI) or in family enterprises; think that competence and motivation make a difference in competitive organizations oriented towards innovation; admit that actually there are exceptional entrepreneurial opportunities and potentialities, in South Tyrol as well as in the rest of Europe. 50% of the students enrolled to this Study Course come from other European and non-European countries, after having degreed some of them stayed here in South Tyrol, others found employment in PMIs, others were employed in consultancy societies or enrolled for research doctorate programs.

The candidates can find all available information concerning the admission modalities in the Internet on the web site of the student’s secretariat. For information concerning the different kinds of accommodation, canteens and other services it is possible to interact directly with the
orientation service. Guest students, as well Erasmus Students as Free Movers can get all necessary information at the
International Relations Office. The Free University of Bolzano organizes Language Courses as well during the summer months as during the academic year. More detailed information is available at the University
