interdisciplinary design centre
E’ stato inaugurato prima di Natale il Centro Interdisciplinare di ricerca sul Product Design, nuovo spazio della facoltà di Design e Arti nato da un progetto di Alex Titone e del preside Gerhard Glüher. “Le finalità dello spazio sono quelle di esser di supporto ai corsi e agli studenti della facoltà come teaching room”, spiega Titone. Il Centro Interdisciplinare di ricerca sul Product Design studia le relazioni e i rapporti che esistono tra oggetto/materiale; oggetto/produzione; oggetti/oggetti. “Con questo lavoro espositivo si vuole visualizzare solo l’architettura, lo scheletro iniziale di organizzazione del lavoro, ed è un lavoro work in progress per cui sarebbe necessario un approfondimento continuo” – continua il ricercatore. Tutto il lavoro fa riferimento ad un database informatico gestito secondo la stessa logica, che si interfaccia agli oggetti attraverso sistemi di lettura ottici.
