Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management Sciences (Laurea di primo livello) - Major in Tourism Management
The Major in Tourism Management, which takes place under the auspices of the School of Economics and Management of the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano, is a three year, trilingual (Italian, German, English) course which takes place in Bruneck/Brunico.

The degree course aims to create managers and professionals for the tourist industry who have the necessary skills and experience to deal with the complex and dynamic world that characterizes tourism companies and international tourism in general.

The Major in Tourism Management seeks the right balance between, on one hand, specialised knowledge related to business and tourism, and, on the other hand, operational practice.
The graduates should be able to respond to different requirements in their future professions characterized by the following competences:

  • Competence in organisation, planning and administration
  • Competence in problem solving and independent critical thinking
  • An interdisciplinary approach to problems Teamwork and creativity
  • Environmental consciousness and social competence
  • Linguistic competence
